General information. The Arctic SDI Central Services are free and open and maintained by the national mapping agencies of the eight Arctic Council Member countries. The services includes the Arctic SDI Geoportal, the Arctic SDI Topographic Basemap, the Arctic SDI Catalogue Service and the Arctic SDI Gazetteer Service.
The Arctic SDI Geoportal is operated by the National Land Survey of Finland. All services is run in a cloud environment hosted by the Norwegian Mapping Authority.
Service Level Statement: The Arctic SDI services and infrastructure are monitored by the Norwegian Mapping Authority. In case of operation failures the responsible national mapping agencies will react during their normal business hours to restore access to the services.
Although the Arctic SDI strives to maintain high service availability, the Arctic SDI cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
